Major Recruitment are extremely proud to be partnering with Quorn Foods in Stokesley. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Production Operatives to join their Team on a Permanent basis.This opportunity gives a Production Operator the chance to work with one of the most respected companies in UK. They offer not only an excellent package, but more importantly in todays world, job security.The role will be to cover a 12 hour continental shift pattern. 4 on ( 2 days followed by 2 nights) 4 off. Your primary responsibility is to produce products, following strict guidelines to make sure the product is safe and legal.Machine Operative Main Duties:
  • Setting up machinery to job specifications
  • Efficient reporting of any mechanical or health and safety issues on site
  • Operate the manufacturing equipment safely and as efficiently as possible
  • Following company processes to receive materials and load product materials in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure all required records are kept accurate and up to date
  • Assist with equipment maintenance as needed
  • Actively clean working environment during job changes
  • To undertake additional training as required
  • Adhere to all health & safety policies at all times
  • Effectively communicate and liaise with managers and co-workers.
Production Operative Role Requirements:
  • Must have experience of working in a production / manufacturing capacity
  • Food Safety Qualifications (Desirable)
  • Be a team player with a drive to succeed
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety practices
  • Excellent communication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow a process
  • A willingness to learn and develop
  • Physically able to lift up to 25kg
  • Flexibility with regards to shifts and over-time
