Our clientOur client is a high profile business restructuring to create a dedicated product design team.The roleReporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for the design and development of new products whilst continuing to improve design and usability of existing products. This will include product prototyping, testing, documentation and providing technical support throughout the business.About youYou will have previous experience in the design and development of new products to meet the needs of a complex and changing customer base. With a minimum of HNC/HND in either Mechanical Engineering or Product Design, you will have well developed communication skills to be able to give confidence to customers but also work closely with production.Whether you are a mechancial design engineer with an interest in product design or a product design engineer with an appreciation of mechanical principles this could be the opportunity to have an input into the new product development strategy.
