Job Description

Central Employment are looking to recruit a PR & Outreach Specialist, as our client a Teesside based Digital & Web Development agency expand their SEO team.The SEO team sits within the larger marketing team who support clients with Technical SEO, PR/Outreach, Influencer Marketing, Google Ads, Social Media, Content Creation and Media Production. The ideal candidate will be office based but offer flexible hoursand allow people to WFH when required, however the successful candidate will be based from within the North East.Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Building and maintaining client relationships
  • Audit client websites and their backlink profile
  • Contacting Journalists, press and 3rd party sites
  • Working with Influencers
  • Work alongside the Technical SEO team
  • Work alongside Marketing Team to deliver full digital marketing strategies for our clients
  • Creating and executing content marketing strategies to help our clients improve their online presence
  • Carry out regular site audits for clients (content, link profile) and make recommendations for optimising the site.
  • Make on-page recommendations based on keyword research, working closely with both the marketing team and the developers
  • Detailed keyword research
  • Review SEO performance across key metrics and other key indicators such as ranking and visibility
  • Support in the management of Surge Marketings own digital marketing strategy
  • Maintain detailed monthly reporting documents to monitor and communicate content marketing performance
  • Keep up to date with Googles latest algorithms and updates
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 3 + years agency experience
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Be able to demonstrate your role in search traffic growth from a current/previous position
  • Experience in reporting back to clients, making recommendations for improvements and providing rationale behind those recommendations
  • Knowledge of other marketing activities that impact SEO performance
  • Willingness to learn about other areas in the marketing mix and how digital fits together
  • Conduct competitor analysis and insights (link strategies, onpage and offpage content) In Depth backlink analysis and auditing processes.
