The Site Planner will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth, safe and timely execution of the Marshalling Harbour Site Works. The Site Works will include the receipt and storage of Wind Turbine components, pre-assembly of turbine towers, onshore commissioningactivities, movement of equipment around site and loadout of components to the installation vessel. The role will require close collaboration with the Site Team, the Customer and the various Package Subcontractors. As the Site Planner you will have the following accountabilities: * To create and maintain a dynamic detailed end-to-end P6 schedule covering the full scope of Site Activities in line with the existing overall Program Schedule. * To create detailed two week look ahead schedules and present them to the client, Customer and Subcontractor Site Management personnel. * To review detailed schedules produced by Subcontractors to ensure alignment to and compliance with the Site Schedule. * To monitor subcontractor performance against their schedule commitments and performance guarantees. * To monitor any and all weather down time in line with contractual weather limits and record the delays in P6. * To review and monitor Subcontractor performance to their site mobilization schedule including document creation and review. * To prepare / contribute to internal and external reports including Key Performance Indicators. * To be an integral part of the PMO Project Planning Team and work with Package Managers to ensure integration and compatibility between all phases of the Works. * To work closely with the Project Logistics Manager to monitor deliveries in line with site storage capacity. * To perform daily walkabouts to monitor progress of the activities on site and ask questions to workers about progress of activity. You will have the following: * A minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Planner. * Experience working on a high intensity construction site in a Site Planning role. * Previous experience of Wind Turbine projects would be beneficial. * Demonstrable experience and ability in all aspects of planning and scheduling in Primavera P6. * An understanding of various methods of planning, programming, and progress monitoring, in particular Critical Path Methodology and resource management. * Good report writing and presentation skills. * Competent user of Microsoft Office Programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. * Willingness to attend necessary Health and Safety training if required (e.g. GWO, IOSH). * A positive and professional manner with clients and colleagues alike. * Highly organised and able to prioritise your own workload. * Knowledge of Offshore Wind sector would be beneficial. * Fluent English speaking and writing is essential.Please note that this role has been deemed inside of scope from an IR35 perspective.
