Job Description

REED Business Support are actively looking for an Operations Manager to join an amazing forward-thinking business, based in Middlesbrough. There is plenty of responsibility and career progression as the company grows.Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience)Location: MiddlesbroughHours: Monday – Friday

  • Customer service is key as you will be the POC for all client and dealing with any queries or complaints across the board.
  • Relationship and rapport building comes easy to you as you will be dealing with all levels of hierarchy along with multiple cultures/backgrounds.
  • Overseeing and providing quotations for specialist shipments to the sales teams and then sending all information on to the logistics coordinators on those shipments once the deal is secured.
  • Providing clients with letters of credit, with the accounts department to ensure clients are not late with payments.
  • Chasing payments across the board and building relationships with the relevant people to ensure late payments are avoided.
  • Able to use own initiative at a high level whilst working with Senior Management.
  • You require a high level of problem-solving skills.
We are looking for someone to not only execute in this role but also to fully systematise the department, develop customer facing track and trace type platforms, deliver a consistent GP from the department and SOP’s.There is also growth and development not only from an office POV but also the are open to putting the correct candidate through any professional qualifications relevant and would be prepared to fund this from the company.APPLY NOW! – Our client is looking for their new starter to join them in 2024!
