They prioritise excellence and impact in all their endeavours.They are seeking an exceptional individual to provide management, leadership and technical back-up on all Mechanical Building Engineering Services.Mechanical Services Manager – Key Responsibilities:- To identify all generic elements of a mechanical services nature within all campus buildings which lend themselves to be included in either a service contract, a call-off contract or a Schedule of Rates contract- To formulate the relevant schedules (derived from the duty identified above) to be included in the appropriate form of contract, to produce the associated specifications and tender documentation, and to obtain competitive service contracts of the appropriateduration and to act as the Contract Administrator for each contract. This will incorporate daily interaction and supervision of the mechanical services staff within the maintenance team- To manage the operation of the Building Management Systems controlling the heating, cooling and ventilation systems within campus buildings in conjunction with the day-to-day supervision of the energy management function- Keep clients and all interested parties involved and informed at all times of all new work or remedial actions and preventative measures recommended to prevent further occurrence which may impact on their day-to-day activitiesMechanical Services Manager – You:- Evidence of working in partnership and relationship building- Experience of writing and presenting technical reports and specifications- Degree in Building Services Engineering or equivalent- Post degree qualification or experience in a similar role- Chartered status- Experience of formulating, developing, administering and managing specialist maintenance contracts for mechanical building services- Experience in the design of modern mechanical building services- A general understanding of construction industry “sustainability” and the range of alternative energy technologies such as CHP, natural ventilation, air source heat pumps, etcMechanical Services Manager – Benefits:- A competitive salary which allows for increases based on exceptional performance- Company bonus scheme- 30 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays) + paid leave over Christmas and New Year- 24/7 counselling support with our Employee Assistance ProgrammeTo submit your CV for this exciting Mechanical Services Manager opportunity, please click ‘Apply’ now!
