Software Tester/ Manual Tester. A successful global software company based in Teesside are looking for a manual tester to join their large development team.About you:As the ideal candidate you will have experience testing large software applications. If you have experience working closely with developers and writing unit tests you’ll be at an advantage.You will be a real team player and have an ambitious and self-starter attitude to work. The business do have first line application support but as the software tester you may need to, when required, speak with users directly.About the role:You will be working in a team of 3 testers and have autonomy over testing projects. This role is taking over for someone who is moving in to a different area of the business and there will be a handover period. Day to day you will be working on all aspectsof the large software application and will be involved in the full software development life cycle. As well as testing the company’s successful existing products, the role will involve working on brand new web based application and new sites from scratch.Benefits:In return, the company will involve free parking, a stable and successful business, opportunities to contribute ideas and improve your own testing skills and working with some high profile national clients.
