Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join one of our clients to support the Supervisor in ensuring both Mechanical and Electrical statutory compliance. This will include the carrying out of installation and maintainingof mechanical systems or electrical systems, along with ensuring that breakdowns and planned activities are managed effectively.Working hours are a 3 shift rotation , regular overtime available at the weekendResponsibilities and duties include:

  • Working safely throughout all activities in line with companies safety standards and procedures, ensuring a full Risk Assessment is carried out prior to undertaking any task.
  • The maintaining of a safe infrastructure.
  • Ensuring applicable compliance is maintained.
  • Responding to breakdowns & faults and managing planned & reactive work in a timely and logical manner.
  • Carry out installation work as required.
  • Liaise with and assist in the managing of third party contractors.
  • Liaise and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Be actively involved in the sites Energy Management Strategy.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
  • Ideally you will have a recognised apprenticeship in a relevant field.
  • 17th Edition if Electrical Bias
