Job Description

Central Employment are delighted to supporting a leading and fast growing, Real Estate and Property Management organisation, as they look to expand their in-house development function, with the appointment of a highly talented and experienced Lead/Senior WordPress Developer.The role initially would be standalone, however as the business scales, with new web projects, the Senior Developer will be tasked to grow and develop an internal technology focussed team, ranging from Front-End, Back-End, Full-Stack and UX/UI.Role

  • Integrating into third party APIs and providing third party API support
  • Monitoring and testing existing platforms such as an in-house built CRM system
  • Writing clean, commented, easy to read and scalable code
  • Improving service speed and quality of current applications
  • Suggesting improvements to current services
  • Lead on all in-house development projects
  • Work in partnership with the organisation web design and build agency
    • Tech and Experience required
  • Proven experience of developing WordPress based web applications with in-depth WooCommerce and related technologies
  • Strong WordPress experience
  • Good PHP 7+
  • Experience working with API’s
  • Git Version Control
  • Knowledge with MySQL
  • Circa 5 years commercial experience, specifically in PHP/WordPress
  • Operated within a senior, lead Development role - agency or client side
    • Desirable
  • MVC Framework
  • JavaScript Es6 Frameworks, Node JS, Angular JS, React JS
