Job Description

The Opportunity:Nigel Wright are pleased to support a family run business with their search for a Senior IT Technician.The company are firmly rooted in the North with 37 Branches across Durham, Teesside, Tyne & Wear as well as Yorkshire and Cumbria.They are a social company who offer all employees the opportunity to share in their success through their profit share initiative.The Role:

  • Lead and Support on IT projects including the design and deployments of new systems and services
  • Provide Senior IT support
  • Assist with defining the IT infrastructure strategy
  • Work alongside 3rd party suppliers
  • Provide support on the companies ERP system as well as wider business applications
  • Create and maintain system reports
  • Action any system and software updates and upgrades where needed
Requirements:We are ideally looking for a candidate who has some experience across the following
  • Previous experience of providing IT support at a Senior level
  • Excellent working knowledge of IT Infrastructure - Hardware, Software, Applications & Systems
  • Lead and managed IT projects and infrastructure role outs
  • ERP / Business application support
  • Comfortable dealing with 3rd party suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • SQL experience
  • Previous experience working in an industrial environment
