Job Description

My client is a UK based, home grown company that are involved within Hydraulic engineering across over 50 countries around the world. Due to such popularity within the hydraulic industry my client is working tirelessly to ensure they provide the very bestservices ranging from design to supplies inclusive of service maintenance. They are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to join their team and to grow within their business long term.Hydraulic EngineerLocation: Middlesbrough Relocation package is available. £40,000 - £45,00025 days holiday plus BH, Overtime available, Mobile Allowance and pension scheme.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Uphold company HSE regulations and standards across project work.
  • Attend and participate in project starter meetings.
  • Provide on site client support for service and maintenance work.
  • Provide sites with technical support for short- and long-term issues.
  • Assist with apprentice training and support.
  • Managing pressure testing and flushing both on site and in workshops.
  • Maintenance and fault finding for both open and closed loop hydraulic systems.
  • Provide technical support for potential proposals for clients and business development.
  • Set up testing and carrying out customer FAT.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
  • Full understanding of HSE.
  • 10 years experience working within Hydraulics.
  • Hold a HNC qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical subject.
  • A desire to learn.
  • Hydraulic design knowledge inclusive of parts, materials and equipment.
  • Be fully skilled in all aspects of Hydraulic Engineering Systems both on site and within a workshop environment.
  • An awareness of marine systems including crane, winches and shore side support.
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair systems and components.
  • Liaise professionally with clients and colleagues of all levels.
  • Be able to read and fully understand Hydraulic Systems.
  • Have a basic understanding of project cost tracking.
  • Perform engineering calculations.
