Insight Executive Group are working in partnership with a leading global Facilities Management company who are looking to recruit a Health, Safety and Environment (HSEQ) Manager to cover one of their major healthcare contracts in the North-East.The position is a permanent full-time role with a starting salary of up to £42k.You will be required to provide regulatory guidance and functional leadership, helping to achieve improvements in HS&E performance, ensuring processes are established and in place to regularly monitor progress and leading on the coordination of action plansdesigned to manage our HS&E risk. This will include designing and implementing safety management systemsThe successful HSEQ Manager will be responsible for:- supporting all allocated contracts with developing, tracking and delivering their HS&E Objectives- supporting all local Operational staff in the development and maintenance of the HS&E controls in order to ensure the implementation of appropriate management systems. - provide Contract Management and Operational Managers with timely and appropriate management information and reports on relevant HS&E activities- monitoring performance, prompt local action, and encourage the delivery of strategic objectives and targets. The successful HSEQ Manager will be able to demonstrate:- a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent NVQ Level 5 in Occupational Health and Safety. - a Food Safety Level 3 or above qualification.- a related professional organisation at an appropriate level - the preferred level being graduate or chartered member of IOSH (or equivalent), or IEMA, and have experience in operating within regulated workplace environments.The successful HSEQ Manager will have:- previous experience of service delivery on contracts- previous experience in facilities services in a Healthcare environment- previous experience in construction and design management- enthusiasm for HS&E, and evidence self motivated and drive to make a difference.
