Functional Skills Tutor (Maths/English/ICT)£15.00-24.00 per hour depending on experienceMiddlesboroughFull TimeTemp-to-PermRole Purpose:We are currently recruiting for an experienced sessional Functional Skills Tutor (starting ASAP- ongoing) to deliver Maths, English and ideally ICT.You will work with learners, who each have additional needs or barriers to employment. As part of a wider skills delivery programme, learners will gain new skills to enhance their opportunities to gaining meaningful employment. Delivering to both 121 and togroups of learners the region, you will plan, deliver, and assess effective functional skills lessons to maximise learner progress and achievement.You will be experienced and passionate about working with adult learners and you will understand some of the challenges they might face in the day-to-day delivery of the course.You will have a teaching qualification and previous experience delivering functional skills.Due to the nature of this role, you will be a car driver and have access to your own vehicle and you will be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.If this sounds like the perfect role for you then please submit your CV.This vacancy is being handled by Aspire Recruitment.
