An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a Permanent basis.This opportunity gives a Warehouse Operative the chance to work with one of the most respected companies in the steel industry. They offer not only an excellent opportunity and training package, but more importantly in todays world, job security.The main purpose for the Warehouse Operative is the full lifecycle from raw / stock material through to processing the products on the cutting machines and other processes and finally loading shipments for customer delivery.Working hours:Monday to Thursday:7:30hrs - 16:30hrsFriday07:00hrs - 15:30hrsOvertime and weekends requiredWarehouse Operative Main Duties: Operating Forklift. Operating Overhead CraneWork alongside the planning department to ensure clients orders are fulfilled Maintain relevant paperwork for traceability purposes Quality Checking Package all products prior to dispatch or delivery Packing finished/ semi-finished goods Loading shipments Processing Transfer Orders Using Computer SAP system to check quantities and productsRole Requirements for a Warehouse Operative: Good standard of literacy and numeracy skills Counterbalance Fork Truck competence (3 tonne). Training can be provided but experience is preferred Overhead Crane competence, preferred. Use of measuring equipment. Knowledge of the Steel Industry. Able to complete paperworkINDTW
