Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Qualified/Qualified by experience Financial Accountant to join growing business in the Teesside area. This is a full time permanent position.The primary responsibility for this role will be to take ownership of the UK group reporting and statutory obligations. You will work alongside a team of excellent professionals. My client is looking for a highly motivated individual who will who will ensurethe provision of timely and high quality financial date as required.Key duties will include:

  • Ensuring the accuracy and timelines of all financial records
  • Ensure compliance with group internal control procedures and reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts
  • Preparation of statutory accounts across three entities
  • Be the main point of contact throughout the audit process
  • Corporate tax calculations
  • Timely and accurate data analysis to assist in the completion of submissions
  • VAT workings and submissions
  • Ensuring accurate evidence is gathered in order to support the companys ongoing HRMC relief status
  • Annual payroll declarations
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
  • Qualified or qualified by experience ACCA/CIMA/ACA/AAT
  • Excellent financial analysis and management skills
  • Statutory reporting skills and experience
  • ERP system experience
  • Strong presentational skills
  • Excellent excel skills
