Job Description

ELECTRONIC TEST TECHNICIAN MIDDLESBROUGH£25,000 - £28,000A world leader in safety systems is looking for an Electronic Test Technician to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and safety of products. You will be responsible for testing a diverse range of products using varioustools and equipment, ensuring the continuous improvement or work instructions, processes, product quality, and the seamless integration of new products.BENEFITSYou will have 24 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), an extra day off on your birthday, and an early finish on Fridays!   • Learning about the application and functionality of the business’ product range
  • Testing products and documenting results, including deviations and issues
  • Training colleagues within the department on testing procedures, equipment operation and troubleshooting
  • Collaborating with the product engineering team to enhance and improve processes
  • Identifying products faults, and suggesting improvement
  • Assisting in root cause analysis for product issues
  • Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures whilst working with equipment
  • Creating and maintaining a safe and clean working environment
  • Understanding despatch procedures for coverage when needed
WHAT YOU’LL NEEDTo be considered for the Electronic Test Technician role, you must have:
  • A HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject
  • c2 years’ experience in an electronics/electrical/instrumentation role
  • Experience with fault finding in an electronic/electrical environment
  • A pro-active and motivated mindset, ready to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment
  • An appreciation for quality, with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, to address technical issues with stakeholders
