Job Description

Job title: Electrical Project ManagerLocation: North EastBasic Salary: £38,000-£50,000 DOEContract: 37.hrs contract ( Monday - Friday ) - 8am -4pmVehicle : Company van or mileage paid forHolidays:25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Phone:Smart Phone / Lap Top Provided Training:Training and Development Progression The RoleWe are a mechanical and electrical family run business based in the North East with 37 engineers working for us with over 200 years experience between them. We currently employ are wide range of skills which include Air conditioning, Commercial Gas, Plasterers,Plumbers and Electricians. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Supervisor in the North East to carry out the below role. Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • The day to day running of all projects
  • Working across commercial sites such as MOD / Schools and Unis
  • Managing maintenance / repairs and installation projects in the North West
  • Attending site to complete site visits
  • Ordering materials and part for sites
  • Managing a team of 10 electricians and carrying out tool box talks and setting targets
  • Collection of parts where required on jobs
  • Dealing with suppliers / contractors
  • Establish and monitor the operational service levels to ensure contract KPIs are achieved
  • Ensure that a consistent level of service delivery is provided across each site within the portfolio
  • Actively manage & monitor NICEIC electrical certification & tender works based on remedial actions
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships across the portfolio
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health, safety, environmental and quality legislation and standards
