This role covers the UK&I and reports to the UK&I Maintenance Manager.The Electrical Engineering Manager Role:Key Measures:+ The achievement of zero accidents associated with Health and Safety issues.+ The satisfaction of site requirements on plant maintenance within budget.+ The satisfactory installation or modification of new/existing plant and equipment.+ The level of current appropriate electrical knowledge.+ The effective recruitment, deployment, training and development of staff to fully realise their potential.+ Compliance to all Company procedures and legislative requirements.+ The level of cooperation achieved with all company and third party personnelAbout you:+ An understanding of Safety Instrumented Systems, including SIL Classifications, PFD Calculations, Trip and Alarm Testing, Demand recording and reporting, system reviewing.+ Thorough understanding of power distribution (LV) best practice maintenance.+ Knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations and associated legislation and regulation, who can apply this to establish and maintaining an electrical safety management system.+ Knowledge of hazardous areas, the protection concepts of the installed equipment and the inspection requirements.+ Experience in the management of LV distribution, motor starters, variable speed drives, lighting systems, small power systems, portable apparatus and the inspection requirements for safe operation.+ A wide knowledge of the modern instruments and DCS systems that are used across the assets.+ Strong SHE leadership and understanding of relevant legislation and standards, specifically around COMAH in general+ Experience of design, development, commissioning and troubleshooting.+ Ability to lead investigations and improvements for C/E Issues.+ Management of plant information systems and retention of corporate memory.We Are Looking For:The successful candidate will have good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be an experienced manager/leader. It is essential that you are self-motivated, focused, flexible, numerate, possess excellent organisational skills along withstrong IT skills.This role is for a self-motivated individual, with experience in all Electrical aspects.
