Job Description

Our prestigious clients are now seeking experienced Customer Advisors to support their busy Contact Centre based in the centre of Middlesbrough (No parking available). They offer a great working environment in a supportive team. You will be required to workon a temp basis for at least 2-3 months.In this role you will be the first point of contact for clients and provide prompt, professional and accurate information to their customers. You will be taking the first call from clients and making sure they go through to the right department. You willtake ownership for effectively solving customer issues inquiries; keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behaviour is a must.Ideally you will have already worked in a customer service environment, but we are open to all applications if you are customer focused. You will need to have been a resident in the UK for the last 3 years or more to undergo the checks required below.ALL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE TO UNDERGO A FULL CRIMINAL AND CREDIT REFERENCE CHECK BEFORE STARTING IN THE ROLEHourly rate: £12.25Hours: 8.45-5.00pm or 9-5.15pm or 9.15-5.30pmYour role:

  • Identify customers needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions
  • Keep records of all conversations in our call centre database
  • Answer calls and respond to emails
  • Handle customer inquiries both over the phone and by email
  • Provide customers with product and service information
  • Enter new customer information into system
  • Route calls to appropriate resource where applicable
  • Follow up customer calls where necessary
The person:
  • Good communication skills, especially listening
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills
  • Ideally a background in a call centre or customer service environment
  • Direct, relevant experience of the Pensions Industry would be advantageous
