The Opportunity:Nigel Wright Recruitment are working with a leading international engineering business in their search for a Cost Estimator to be based from their site near Middlesbrough. The Cost Estimator plays a vital role in the tendering process for offshore projects,starting the new processes by exploring multiple solutions for the project and identifying the best option based on price, risk, planning and safety.Role Profile:As a Cost Estimator, you will prepare economically and technically feasible cost and time estimates for tenders. You have a good understanding of logistic concepts and the capabilities and limits of offshore technology. That is why you will not only set upthe cost estimate, but you will also understand what is really going on in the field. In this way, you can advise the tender team of the most cost and time efficient design.
