Job Description

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking Construction Project Manager to join our established and growing team in the UK. Working at Teesside, Northeast England. You will be responsible for leading and managing the Construction of this unique project,under the supervision of the Projects Director. Your role will be a mix of work from home, work from the Teesside site (NE England), and regular visits to our EPCM in Manchester/Liverpool area. This role will therefore be most suited to someone who is basedin the North of England, or willing to regularly travel, and would enjoy a blend of both remote, office and on-site work.You will fully understand and comply with the project execution plan and ensure that all relevant parties you lead and supervise also understand these project targets in your day-to-day management of the project.Job description:Assesses and defines construction aspects of the project execution plan in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders and the project delivery teamManages and motivates their element of the project team identifying risks and opportunities to continually develop our people, project performance and succession plans at either project, programme levelManages and motivates their element of the project team by listening and understanding the challenges each party faces and establishing support and alternative solutions to overcome potential issuesMonitors project performance on key areas and suggest corrective action where necessary (safety management, risk assessment, risk management, construction management) utilising digital technology where applicable.Ideal candidates will have:-

  • Degree Qualification is preferred, but not essential
  • Professional Memberships are an advantage, but not essential (CIOB)
  • Extensive experience in managing on site, refinery construction projects and/or other mega Civil infrastructure projects.
  • Live Operational environment experience an advantage, but not essential
  • APM/PMI Qualification is preferred but not essential.
