This is a fast-paced team that prides itself on delivering a superb level ofclient service.Here, you will be responsible for helping 4 Account Executives / Directors in servicing an allocation of clients generating circa £300K commission / fee income. Clients will be from a wide range of industry sectors (both blue and white collar), such as manufacturing,property owners and technology. Clients’ premiums can range from a couple of thousand pounds, right up into the multiple six-figures.You will be responsible for scrutinising clients’ insurance programmes and ensuring that they are sufficiently robust. Where gaps in cover exist, you will suggest innovative solutions to mitigate these. You will be responsible for mid-term amendments andpreparing renewals, as well as negotiating with insurers to obtain your clients comprehensive cover at a competitive premium. You will also prepare a variety of reports and documentation.It is essential that you have extensive commercial insurance experience (gained in either broking or underwriting) together with a knowledge of a variety of commercial covers. You should also have excellent communication skills, and the ability to get onwith stakeholders from all walks of life.
