This is an exciting and extremely rewarding role which provides the opportunity to work with victims of rape and serioussexual offences, bringing justice for them and their families. The role will involve working closely with victims and preparing cases for the Crown Court. This position will provide you with extensive training and career development.THE CANDIDATE:Applications are sought from qualified Solicitors or Barristers with a background in childcare / child protection and who, ideally, have gained some exposure to child abuse or domestic violence work. The successful Child Protection Solicitor will be an empatheticcommunicator and have a genuine desire for seeking redress for victims.The ability to make solid and well-reasoned decisions is essential for this role, in addition to having exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You will be expected to demonstrate a desire to learn new areas of work and an aptitude for legal reasoningthroughout the interview process.
