Job Description

Adecco are currently recruiting for an experienced Catering Assistant to work with a school based in the Stokesley area.You will be expected to assist in the preparation, cooking and service of meals whilst maintaining a high level of quality service and cleanliness.Job Role & Responsibilities:

  • To keep the kitchen and restaurant area fittings and equipment clean and well maintained.
  • To contribute to the preparation and serving of meals as directed to the highest quality
  • To account for all stock used in an approved manner and to minimise and record any waste
  • To communicate effectively with both customers and all levels of staff and to liaise with other departments.
  • To ensure the correct storage of food and equipment including cleaning, putting away deliveries and appropriate stock rotation
  • To observe and implement all required food safety procedures and legislation
  • To provide waitress service within the restaurant, dealing with customers in a polite, friendly, professional and effective manner
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by your line manager
  • You will be required to have a good standard of literacy and numeracy required.
  • You will be experienced in a catering
  • You will have a Food Hygiene certificate.
