Job Description

Care Service Manager | Middlesborough, North East | Full Time | £26,000-£30,000Helping others is in our client’s DNA! Their guiding principle is that if you treat a person as they are they will remain as they are, but treat a person as they could be and they become as they should be.In this role, you will ensure that assessed care, developmental and support needs are always fully implemented.You will develop positive relationships with everyone involved and create a homely, welcoming environment. Working proactively to help people gain more independence by acquiring daily living skills, achieving their forecasted outcomes and matching team members’expertise to their needs.The role is open to those who have experience and are competent in a health and social care supervisory role wishing to develop their career. Especially those who have held front-line managerial and leadership positions. Being able to demonstrate their potentialto lead and manage the front-line team within specialised community-based, safe ‘Person-Led’ enabling support services for people who are vulnerable with severe complex needs.Are you the right person for the jobEvidence aptitude and willingness to

  • Essential to have achieved a minimum of NVQ level 3 or Diploma in Leadership and Management Level 5
  • Perform in line with the organisation’s culture and beliefs including appropriate appearance
  • Occasionally travel overnight stays when needed
Your role will include, but not be limited to
  • Deliver ‘person-led’ care and support service to a wide range of vulnerable people with complex needs using the organisation’s ways of working. Consistently implementing the agreed enablement care and support plans to each individual even when no one islooking
  • Create positive relationships and opportunities, guaranteeing each person receives personalised enabling support, working in partnership with others
  • Ensure the assessed needs of the person supported are met by developing; their relationships, daily living skills and greater independence
  • Ensuring that standards are currently met
