Job Description

Seven Resourcing are looking for temporary Care Assistants to work in Middlesbrough . These positions are initially for a period of 3 months and are paying from £10.41 - £13.07 per hour (PAYE and umbrella company payment options are available).The role: To provide support to adults and young people who access services at Levick Court. To look after their physical, psychological, spiritual, social and environmental needs and to uphold service users dignity, privacy, independence, choice and human rights.To build trusting relationships with service users, families and friends in keeping with the individuals preferences.Key Responsibilities:

      To support the senior staff member on duty to ensure all aspects of individual service users care needs are met including, personal care, medication administration, finance, social inclusion and emotional support whilst enabling and promoting independence.
To be able to adapt to the continuous changing service users assessed needs.To support colleagues during any incidents or emergency situation that may arise.Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained including laundering of clothing and linens following all infection control procedures.To use all equipment within Levick safely in accordance with guidance following training.Follow all Statutory Policy, Codes of Practice, and Procedure Guidelines and participate in all training appropriate to the role.Support in the delivery of the service aims and objectives.To participate in the agreed working roster which includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, bank holidays, waking night shifts and additional hours when required.To support senior staff in ensuring the cultural, religious and linguistic needs of service users are met.Applicant Requirements:
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Adult Social Care.
  • Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
  • Compliance: Current DBS and 2 years written references.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
