Job Description

Capital Planning & Property ManagerStockton £43kClientCastlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Capital Planning & Property Manager to join a large public sector organisation.Role

  • Responsible for property management of the Trust’s freehold estate and occupation of leasehold premises
  • Responsible for managing legal aspects of property occupation agreements
  • To co-ordinate a programme of significant capital investment proposals through the project owners/managers
  • To support the review of clinical service configuration, analysing the impact on capacity of any proposed changes and advising on the capital and relationship consequences of implementation
  • To support jointly commissioned proposals, investments and ventures for the benefit of the Trust and the local health economy
  • Provide expert advice to Directorates and Capital Project Boards / Teams on the preparation of business cases and the conduct of capital planning and procurement arrangements
  • Person
  • Experience in the management of contract law and procedures
  • Expert knowledge of land and property legal transactions
  • Familiarity of working with external agencies and contract services
  • Understanding of collecting information for NHS Improvement and Estates Returns Information Collection (ERIC)
  • Knowledge of the management of a Public Body Corporation
  • Capacity to work in a dynamic environment and to plan and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated with drive and initiative with positive approach to career and personal development
  • Excellent IT skills and drawing AutoCad experience is essential
  • Full Corporate Membership of a professional body: I.Eng CIBSE, IEE, 1 Mech E, RICS, CIOB, CBAT, or similar approved
