Job Description

Our client, based in North Yorkshire, is currently recruiting for an ASB Officer on a temporary contract for Three months. With a Gold Standard Investors in People accreditation they champion inclusion by providing and promoting accessible homes and neighbourhoods that welcome and include everyone. The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.The ideal candidate will have experience of dealing with high level ASB cases and hold a full UK Driving License.Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Responsible for investigating reports of nuisance, domestic abuse, hate crimes, harassment or ASB made by tenants, residents or members of the public
  • Ensure a high level of presence and interventions are visible in the communities
  • Work closely with the front line teams to provide support and guidance on managing lower level cases to prevent escalation
  • Manage all complex and high risk cases, including safeguarding concerns, liaising with local partners, such as the Police, Local Authorities and other stakeholders regularly to ensure the right action and approaches to managing cases are taken and implemented
  • Provide preventative measures to help tackle and reduce harm that is caused by anti-social behaviour
  • Show effective case management and litigation, including court preparation, taking witness statements, court etiquette, instructing Solicitors and post management of Court Orders
  • Prioritise your workload to meet deadlines and travel around patch as required
  • Experience required:
