In 2020alone they raised over US$182,000 and supported 90 different charities and good causes.Supply Chain plays an essential role in demonstrating the flexibility to respond to change & delivering excellent customer service that sets them apart from their competitors.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of their global network, balancing the demand forecast with the supply capabilities for a portfolio of assets within the Fuel Specialties and Oil Field Specialties business units.The key elements of this role are:

  • Play a key role in generating & managing production plans to ensure product availability and delivering excellent service to their customers.
  • Close collaboration with the manufacturing department to agree plans and priorities for the business.
  • Responsible for ensuring raw material availability to deliver the agreed production plans.
  • Responsible for managing inventory levels versus agreed stock targets.
  • Work closely with other functions & teams to develop plans, identify & resolve issues & identify opportunities for improvement in ways of working.
Role Description:
  • Maintain supply plans (0 to 3 months) to meet expected demand.
  • Replenish stock as necessary in accordance with EMEA Supply Chain procedures.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure reliability of raw material supply.
  • Communicate with Demand, Product Managers and Purchasing to resolve inconsistencies in the sales forecast/supplier forecast.
  • Communicate with Customer service and Logistics teams on availability of finished product, advises of alternative options if customer requirements cannot be met, highlighting supply constraints to the business.
  • Feeding into the S&OP process any capacity constraints.
  • Actively participates in resolving issues and improving the planning process.
  • Review safety stock levels and coordinates replenishment within portfolio.
  • Completes inventory reconciliation at month end, participating in Aged and Damaged stock reduction plans.
  • Identifies cost saving opportunities within the overall supply, storage and delivery cycle - and implements where appropriate.
  • Undertake additional projects within the Purchasing and Planning Team as required in supporting that function/the Business.
Role Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Supply and Demand principles desirable, including forecasting, MRPII and supplier scheduling.
  • Knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning (IBP process)
  • Good knowledge of MS office applications with specific focus on Excel: ability to extract and manipulate information from several sources; clear communication and presentation of information.
  • Ability to manage time well, prioritise tasks and work both under own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Shows initiative in seeking solutions to problems, considering options, gathering information and presenting considered options to management for final decision.
