Job Description

Prospero Teaching is on the lookout for a driven, ambitious Teaching Assistant to work at an SEN School based in Halewood. This role would be ideal for an experienced TA looking to provide the skills they have gained within the profession. However, thisrole would equally suit a graduate looking to learn and develop their skills within a busy and challenging role.The school offers a wide and varied program of study and play to help reach the full potential of each pupil, with a strong emphasis on day to day key skill building and emotional support.Contract details for English Teacher

  • Minimum rate of pay - 70- 85 per day
  • Hours - 8.30am - 16.30pm
Qualifications, Experience and Training
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (ideally in an SEN setting)
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the capability to engage with students
  • Resilient, charismatic and compassionate
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year - Prospero can provide this
Eligibility
  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide a professional child related reference
