SEMH Teacher - Knowsley

Role: SEMH TeacherKey Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH challenges.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies and individualised education plans (IEPs).
Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment to promote students social and emotional growth.
Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and external agencies to address the unique needs of each student.
Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to the wider support team.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and effective teaching methods.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to the well-being and development of students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
