Job Description

Cedar have been engaged to support a Private Sector organisation, based in the North West, who are on the look for 2 x Procurement Project Managers on a permanent role with a salary between £37,500 and £41,000 on offer.Successful candidates will project manage Call Off Contracts and Direct Awards being run on behalf of Public Sector clients who are accessing OJEU Frameworks to engage with compliant Suppliers. The Procurement Project Manager will be responsible for managing agreements from inception to completion in accordance with agreed performance and targets.You will be required to add value to clients engaged by supporting mini-competitions, tender reports, efficiency savings, benchmarking & KPI data, contract support, proactive management of frameworks & supply chain and Social Value which overall contribute to maximising satisfaction monitored via KPIs.Candidates applying MUST HAVE experience which covers:

  • Construction Management, Procurement, Asset Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Building or Quantity Surveyor background and degree/qualification in this area would be advantageous
  • Experience in managing projects/procurements in the Public Sector and as a result have experience and understanding of OJEU and PCR2015
  • Experience of using Tenders, Direct Awards, Mini/Further Competitions and Best & Final Offers (BAFOs) would be advantageous
  • Contract and Financial Management of Framework projects to ensure the delivery of savings and projects delivered on time
  • Consultancy or Client Side role working on projects covering Construction, Engineering and/or Property would be advantageous
