Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented MRICS Surveyor to deliver a number of Asset Valuations as part of a wider Asset Valuation programme across a Local Authoritys commercial property portfolio.Client DetailsThis organisation is a local authority, providing essential services to the local community with a focus on fostering community growth and development. They manage a diverse property portfolio and are delivering their Asset Valuation programme and have anincrease in this work to deliver.Description

  • Conducting thorough and accurate valuations of property assets.
  • Producing comprehensive valuation reports for internal and external use.
  • Working collaboratively with the property team to manage asset portfolios.
  • Providing expert advice on property-related matters to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Supporting strategic decision-making with data-driven insights.
  • Participating in continuous professional development activities.
ProfileThe successful candidate should have:
  • Membership to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) Registered Valuer status is ideal but not essential for this role.
  • A solid understanding of property valuation principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using property management software and tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Job Offer
  • An hourly or day rate dependent on experience
  • 3- 6 months initial contract
  • Long term and perm opportunities available
