Job Description

Are you a dynamic and engaging Learning Support Assistant or Graduate looking for work in the Crosby areaTradewind are working on behalf of a secondary school rated Good by Ofsted. This secondary school is based in Crosby and they are looking to appoint a full time Learning Support Assistant. The successful Learning Support Assistant or Graduate will be providing1:1 support for a Year 7 student who has just joined the school. The role will be Monday- Friday, 8.30am - 3.15pm for whole of the academic year (September 2022 - July 2023).This Crosby school are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant or Graduate, who is eager to provide aid and support for this student.For the role, you will :-

  • Have experience of working with young people OR be a Graduate working towards a PGCE OR hold a Teaching Assistant qualification be working collaboratively with the SENDCo and other members of staff
  • be working on a one-to-one basis with a student
  • be responsible for making learning as accessible as possible for this pupil
  • show empathy and patience, whilst ensuring the student is engaged
  • be a committed, positive and nurturing character
