Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and engaging Teaching Assistant or Graduate to work in a Crosby secondary school. The role is full-time is to start in September 2022 for the full academic year. The position is 5 days a week, 8.30am - 3.15pm.The successful Teaching Assistant will be joining an Ofsted rated Good school with good quality leadership and a culture of high expectations. Staff are proud to work at this school and feel highly valued. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic TeachingAssistant, or Graduate, who is eager to provide aid and support for the pupils and teachers.For the role, you will :-

  • Have experience of working with young people OR be a graduate working towards a PGCE OR hold a Teaching Assistant qualification be working collaboratively with the SENDCo and other members of staff;
  • be working on a one-to-one basis with a student or with a small group of students, identified by the class Teacher;
  • be responsible for making learning as accessible as possible for the students that you work with and therefore it is essential that you show empathy and patience, whilst ensuring they are as engaged as possible;
  • be a committed, positive and nurturing character
