Job Description

Finance Manager / Sefton, Liverpool (hybrid) / Salary £50,000 - £58,000We have a great opportunity for an ambitious, hands-on Finance Manager to join our clients growing Finance team based Merseyside. Our client are a privately owned and rapidly growing organisation, and now due to continued growth across all of their divisionsthey are looking for a dynamic Finance Manager to join their team.Key responsibilities:

  • As the Finance Manager you will play a pivotal role in the financial management and growth of the organisation. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for overseeing all day to day financial aspects of this growing business supporting, mentoringand coaching a small team.
  • Your role will be broad and varied where you will report directly into the Company Directors and pro-actively support by making recommendations to improve financial process and provide MI to support strategic guidance.
  • Analyse P&L statements to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue growth possibilities. Provide insights to management.
  • Prepare and present management accounts, including variance analysis and KPIs, to assist in strategic decision-making.
  • You will assist with the preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making processes.
  • Financial Reporting across the divisions. Generating accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for management and stakeholders.
  • Cash flow reporting, managing cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies, investment opportunities, and risk management plans.
Key skills:
  • Fully Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Previous experience working within an Accountancy Practice environment would be advantageous, or industry experience as a Finance Manager or similar role in a growing SME
  • Strong communication skills, confident communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
