Job Description

Export Administrator / Accounts Assistant

  • Liverpool
  • Salary - £23,000 per annum
  • Full time - Monday to Friday
  • Initial fixed term contract
  • Search are currently recruiting for a company based in Liverpool who are seeking an experienced Export Administrator / Accounts Assistant on an initial 6 month fixed term contract with potential to move into a permanent role next year.This a dual role and will involve aspects of customer service/administration and accounts.Key Responsibilities of the role:
  • Receive, monitor and process daily shipments and ensure the correct regulatory and required paperwork is in place for Export shipments
  • Produce and check Commercial Invoices, packing lists and any other export documentation as required.
  • Continuously monitor shipments from the point of receipt through to delivery.
  • Provide cover in Accounts Department for Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
  • Assist both Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger with Data Entry
  • Assist Credit Control by sending payment reminders
  • Checking of import entries
  • Knowledge and skills required:
  • Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant role
  • Previous experience within a customer service and admin role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, numeracy and problem solving
  • Exceptionally organised with a high level of attention to detail
