Job Description

Do you enjoy helping others realise their potentialCan you set goals that stretch and challenge pupils of all backgroundsDo you want your pupils learning to be on target despite the challenges they faceIf so, then this 1:1 TA role could be for you!We are looking for a teaching assistant to work in reception full time with a child with cerebral palsy to start as soon as possible in Rainhill.Benefits

Requirements
  • Experience working with children with complex needs and EYFS knowledge
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
  • Positive attitude to learning
  • Able to adapt to the different needs of each child
  • Flexibly adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner
Responsibilities
  • Managing disruptive behaviour
  • Providing support to children on a 1 to 1 basis or in a group setting
  • Assisting the teacher in planning engaging lessons for the class in line with school policies
  • Liaising with the class teacher and parents to provide the best support
