Job Description

Account Manager (Remote) / Negotiable OTE £45K / Company Car / PermanentAre you a sales professional who is passionate about getting in front of customersDo you enjoy managing your own workloadThe Company You Could Join:Our client is an established market leading company, looking to add to its growing sales team covering the following areas Merseyside, Wirral, Cheshire, Lancashire, Fylde coast, North Wales and Shropshire.You will be joining an area with an already strong customer base, with room for business development should you see fit.The main purpose of this role is to help maintain a high level of service to customers within the patch, strengthening relationships and increasing profitability in line with customer need.The post holder will provide the highest level of customer service and account management, whilst ensuring they are knowledgeable on all products and service offering to enable continued business.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To achieve GP and Sales Targets as agreed
  • To understand and interpret customer requirements and use every sales opportunity to promote the full product range and service offering.
  • To proactively maintain and develop long term customer relationships.
  • Maintain and develop an existing customer base, ensuring that all relevant contacts are regularly called upon/contacted, demonstrating the ability to maximise selling time by excellent planning and organisation.
  • Maintain the highest level of integrity, customer confidence and satisfaction through regular physical, telephone, and email contact.
  • Under direction from the Regional Sales Manager, you will carry out specific sales development project work within the region
  • Working with suppliers within the area and using their expertise and input to maximise returns
The ideal candidate will be:
  • A results orientated, self-starter with a results driven mind-set who is able to prioritise activities
  • Account management/sales experience, ideally with an understanding of merchant channels (preferred, but not essential)
  • Data-minded to be able to use current business data to implement sales objectives and strategies
  • A natural team player with the ability to work unsupervised
  • A confident communicator with the ability to work with people at all levels across internal and external stakeholders
  • Good IT skills across all Microsoft packages
  • Full, clean driving license
