Job Description

Sales Office AdministratorPermanent, Full time PositionHours: 8:30am to 5:00pm (40 hours per week)£21,000 to £23,000 Dependent on Experience + BonusLeicester, LE19 Please Note: Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.Established over 30 years ago, our client manufactures all types of aluminium roofline and rainwater products, as well as traditional cast iron rainwater systems from their modern premises in Leicestershire. They cover all sectors including housing developers,heritage, retail, self builds and the public sector.They are now looking for a Sales Office Administrator to join their expanding company.About the Role:Reporting directly into the Internal Sales Manager, as Sales Office Administrator, you will be solely responsible for all internal sales enquiries coming into the business.You will take ownership of the process for managing our customer/supplier queries from concept through to fruition, demonstrating professionalism, efficiency and excellent customer service skills.Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring main sales inbox and distributing email accordingly.
  • Answering telephone calls from customers/suppliers.
  • Distributing work to internal departments.
  • Responding to customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inputting and updating internal customer database.
  • Inputting and monitoring contractor quotations.
  • Liaising and communicating information between internal departments and external parties.
  • Following up customer quotations.
  • Tracking customer order/deliveries.
About You:
  • It is essential that you have experience of working in a fast moving, time critical environment and have a proven track record in a customer service focused role.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal skills and deliver effective interaction with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders and ensure best practice prevails.
  • Must demonstrate proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office especially Outlook.
  • CRM and Sage experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills / professional manner.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask essential.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours when required to meet customer demands.
  • Flexible can-do attitude.
