About the OpportunityWe are seeking to appoint a Process Planner to support our operations within the JELD-WEN Stairs Technical Department in Melton Mowbray. The role reports to the Sales Office Manager with operational accountability to the General Manager. You will supply worksheets to the Production Team which will detail all technical dimensions & specifications required to manufacture each staircase.Key Objective of the roleYou will need to be able to work to targets provided and prioritise workloads to ensure that you are able to produce accurate work in a time sensitive environment. The role will involve communicating with other departments within the Stair Factory as well as external staff & on occasion, customers.Experience and Background requirements We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, and an interest in CAD or similar would be advantageous for this role, however full training will be provided. Strong IT skills are desirable for this role. You should have excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence and ability to communicate with people at all levels of the business. Knowledge of this industry and Building Regulations would be advantageous but not essential. We are looking for a team player but one who enjoys working on their own initiative to provide a high standard of customer service.You must have a SAFETY FIRST’ culture with a zero tolerance and continuous improvement mentality. You should have good computer skills and experience of basic business software. You must be flexible, have a positive and proactive attitude with a desire to success. Required skills
