Job Description

Urgent Requirement: Support Worker /Healthcare Assistant/Registered NurseIMPACT Care services is hiring committed and compassionate HCA/SW/RGNs to join our friendly, professional team at Private mental health hospital.Location:Priory Burton Park : Warwick Road Melton Mowbray , LE13 0RDPriory Burton Park aims to reduce challenging behaviour, optimise functional skills and promote quality of life for all of our patients. It offers a safe and supportive complex care facility for male and female patients and focus on positive strategies encompassing care, compassion, courage, competency, commitment and communication, when making a difference in dementia/degenerative brain disordersBurton Park has 50 beds across three units:

  • Warwick Lodge - 15-bedded.
  • Dalby Unit - 9-bedded unit for females
  • Cleves Lodge - 26-bedded unit for males with an ABI. Split over 2 clinical areas, providing 13 beds for acute neurobehavioural rehabilitation and 13 beds for slow stream rehabilitation
    • Due to the concerns and spread of COVID -19, they are taking extra precautions for the safety of their service users, employees and candidatesRoles and Responsibilities:- Observing and monitoring the wellbeing of patients .-Assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the wellbeing, dignity and treatment of all patients.-Providing practical support and responsive and personal care if required .-Contributing to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the multidisciplinary team.-Participating in regular ward meetings and attend other meetings as requested.-Assisting in the maintenance of ward cleanliness and tidiness and adhere to infection control policy and procedures at all times.-Maintaining good professional relationship with patients, colleagues and visitors responding promptly and courteously to requests and enquiries.Requirements:-Understanding the needs of elderly patients.-Dealing young adults with mental health-Practical Experience (essential)-Ability to adapt within a mental health environment.-Car Owner/Current Driving Licence, Desirable but not essentialProfile: Health Care Assistant/Support Worker/Registered NurseSalary/Payrate: upto £10 per hourJoining: ImmediateShift: Full time /Part time/Day/Night/Long day /Flexible working hoursExperienced and Non-Experienced both can apply.Some of the benefits we offer our agency staffs are the following:
