Job Description

Were looking for a standout Ecommerce expert on behalf of a fast-moving, expanding company based in Melton Mowbray.The successful applicant will demonstrate the skill, vision and creativity to effectively develop and manage all aspects of three branded online stores through an exciting period of accelerated growth.As Ecommerce Manager, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Driving online sales by taking responsibility for digital customer acquisition and retention, maximising conversion rates and reducing abandoned baskets
  • Managing affiliate campaigns, SEO / PPC / Keyword campaigns to ensure maximum ROI is achieved
  • Working with marketing to plan and build targeted on-brand email marketing
  • Overall management of e-commerce stock and involvement in the commercial plan for growth
  • Working collaboratively with the third-party consumer service team to maintain a sufficient stock holding
  • Understanding online consumer behaviour across brands, sharing findings and making recommendations
  • Creating and implement the agreed strategy and objectives based on set budget and revenue targets
  • Providing weekly performance status reports across all metrics
  • Using Web Analytics to monitor and measure site performance, providing suggestions for improvements
  • Monitoring competitor and web trends to ensure web offer and experience meets customer expectations
  • Working with online sales manager to optimise the SEO/PPC/Ads for Amazon
Were looking for an Ecommerce Manager with the following skills and experience:
  • Extensive previous experience in a similar Ecommerce role
  • Strong technical knowledge of WooCommerce and Shopify
  • Good understanding of digital marketing, SEO, PPC google analytics, and affiliate management
  • IT proficient; conversant with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent numerical skills, with the ability to analyse data, interpret and communicate to the wider team
  • Effective, clear and professional communicator, both verbally and in writing
Hours of work:
  • Monday to Friday, full-time 9.00am - 5.00pm
  • Hybrid Role
Salary and benefits:
  • £35,000 - £40,000
  • 25 days annual leave (+bank holidays)
