Job Description

BSW Timber Solutions and Bayram Timber Ltd are now part of the very successful BSW Group. With six main operating divisions and part of the largest sawmilling business in the UK, collectively we produce over 1.2 million cubic metres of sawn timber per yearand employee over 1400 people.Within BSW Timber Solutions, we have four sites in Stoke, Hull, Welshpool and Grangemouth and we need to expand our administration team following a promotion.As Production Administrator, you will report to the Commercial Manager, and support the team.Ideally, you are a highly organised and methodical person - able to juggle priorities in this busy operation. Knowledge of production, warehouse and supply chain processes would be advantageous.On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:

  • Accurate input of Production data into our system and cross referencing details
  • (Collecting daily production sheets from the mills and making copies
  • Inputting packs produced onto our stock system and removing the timber used
  • Reconciling the daily production against the timber used in process)
  • Be able to deal with any queries on the production sheets and liaise with guys on the shop floor to resolve.
  • Produce Cutting lists and labels for kit customers
  • Inputting of Sale notes
  • Checking the cutting lists against the costings
  • Putting product codes on
  • Closing job cards down
  • Pick up additional responsibilities to support the team
  • Adhoc tasks when required
  • Work on production stats
  • General administration duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying etc.
You will also be required to assist and support various roles within the supply chain, procurement and production planning function.If you have over a years general administration experience (this is essential) and experience within a supply chain or manufacturing / warehouse role, we want to hear from you!Requirements;High level of IT literacy & ExcelHigh level of accuracyStrong NumeracyExcellent communication skillsStrong organisational skillsTime managementTeam playerNot only will we provide you with a work environment which is caring, fun, and nice to work in, we offer a competitive benefits package, which has a salary of £19k - £21k dependant on experience and fantastic pension contribution.
