Salary: £28,000 - £38,810 (M1-M6)Hours: Full time - Term Time Only (40 hours full time)Closing date for applications: 20th February 2023Interview Date: 23rd February 2023This school is an independent Special day school which provides a highly specialist learning environment for students aged 6 to 19 who have a range of PMLD, MLD and SLD needs including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD and associated difficulties, who requirean individualised, specialist approach.The school is linked to over 20 other SEN schools in this Group across the UKMany of the students have complex medical needs and sensory/ physical impairments.Students are supported to manage sensory overload, anxiety, low self-esteem, low confidence, and difficulty with transitions which is often demonstrative through their behaviours.This is a well resourced school with exceptional fully inclusive facilities, including a Hydrotherapy pool and well developed outdoor learning facilities.They are fortunate to have our own full therapeutic team who work closing with class leaders in the development of our child centred curriculum.Due to the continued increase in student role and expansion of the school provision they are currently looking for two SEN Teachers to join this NAS accredited specialist team to create better outcomes and life chances for our students in their preparationfor adult life.The post offers fantastic opportunities for an innovative SEN teacher with passion to bring further challenge and ambition to learning for learners with profound and complex needs.The Role:We are looking for a passionate and skilled teacher to join our education team where we are always striving to provide the highest quality of education and outcomes for our young people in preparation for adult life.It will be your responsibility will be to plan and deliver high quality teaching and learning within a meaningful and engaging curriculum that stretches and challenges all learners within your class.As a growing school for the right candidate there could be opportunities for career development and progression.Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:
