Job Description

A wonderful, exciting and rewarding job role has just become available.Working with children and young adults with special educational needs and disabilities.The job:- To assist and enable children with their learning and development- Implement, and with support where necessary, adjust learning activities as agreed with the teacher. Reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers- Ensure a high standard of personal care for the pupils, carefully monitoring the health and well-being of the pupils and passing on information to relevant colleagues and other professionals with both concerns and positive changes.- Establish a positive relationship with pupils in order to support them in feeling safe and enabling them to enjoy and learn.- Work co-operatively with colleagues, parents/carers and professionals involved following a multi-disciplinary approach and supporting the pupils Waking Day Curriculum.- Work towards supporting the teacher in monitoring, assessing, recording and reporting pupils progress according to the schools policies in order to monitor and foster pupils progress in all areas of learning.- Contribute to the community life of the school by taking an active part in the preparation and celebration of both community and multi-cultural events.What you need:- Understanding of safeguarding and prevent training- Positive attitude- Experience working within an educational setting (Desired NOT Essential)- Good communication skills- Calm and patient manorIf you feel that you are a great fit for the role, then please Apply now!To find out more information please contact Amy on or
