We have a need for Two, Mechanically biased, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a leading product manufacturer based around the Royston area of Hertforshire.Options are for either a straight days OR 3 shift role (E /L/N).The RoleThis is a multi-skilled role with mechanical duties as the bias. You will require reasonable electrical knowledge in order to carry out fault-finding responsibilities and working safely. - Your key responsibilities will be:-- To provide Mechanical and Electrical support to production ensuring optimum performance of all automation machinery (Vacuum lifting machinery, mixing, conveyors, cutting machinery and more).- You will repair gear boxes, chains, belts, bearings along with failure checks around contacts, sensors, switches, relays, motors etc- You will be accountable for providing a fast and efficient response time to any breakdowns that occur. The Candidate- The successful candidate will have preferably completed an engineering apprenticeship/ HNC/HND/ONC/ NVQ or equivalent in mechanical engineering.- You will have ideally gained your experience from a manufacturing environment - You must be able to communicate effectively across the board, have excellent attention to detail and be competent with I.T.Shift PatternsEarly / Lates / Nightshift (6-2/2-10/10-6)Straight Days (8 hours with Flexibility for start and finish time between 06.00 17.00)BenefitsSalaries; £32k (days) + 28% uplift (£40,960) on 3 shift26 days + Bank HolsContributory PensionThis role will suit a Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Shift Engineer, Shift Technician , Multi skilled Engineer , Multi Skilled Technician , Resident Engineer, Resident Technician, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Technician
