We have a need for a Multi-Skilled, preferrably, Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to work a 3 shift role (E /L/N). You will join a friendly team in leading product manufacturer based around the Royston area of Hertfordshire.The RoleThis is a multi-skilled role with an electrical bias. You will maintain 3 phase production machinery and associated systems including mechanical elements of the machines- Your key responsibilities will be:-- To provide Electrical and Mechanical support to production, attending breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance and ensuring optimum performance of all automation machinery and factory equipment (Vacuum lifting machinery, mixing, conveyors, cutting machineryand more).- You will be involved with; Contacts, sensors, switches, relays, motors, transducers etc including PLC and controls systems (dependant on knowledge level). Mechanical components will include; gearboxes, chains, belts, bearings, seals, Hydraulics, Pneumatics.- You will be accountable for providing a fast and efficient response time to any breakdowns that occur.The Candidate- The successful candidate will have preferably completed an engineering apprenticeship/ HNC/HND/ONC/ NVQ or equivalent in Electrical engineering.- You will have gained your experience from a manufacturing company and be happy in working in a heavier environment (which can be dusty and wet in certain areas)- You must be able to communicate effectively across the board, have excellent attention to detail and be competent with general IT.Shift PatternsEarly / Lates / Nights(06:00 -14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 / 22:00 - 06:00)BenefitsSalaries; £46,080 inclusive of shift allowance26 days + Bank HolsContributory PensionThis role will suit a Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Shift Engineer, Shift Technician , Multi-skilled Engineer , Multi-Skilled Technician , Resident Engineer, Resident Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Technician,Production Electrician
