Our facility is designed to provide a comfortable and supportive living environment for our residents.Our interior-designed living areas are warm and welcoming, with spacious and well-appointed rooms. The landscaped gardens provide a beautiful and peaceful outdoor space for our residents to enjoy, with plenty of room to relax and take in the fresh air.In addition to our living areas, we have a multi-use activity area that can be used for a variety of activities, including sports, crafts, and other recreational pursuits. Our caf and hub is a popular gathering place for residents, offering a range of refreshmentsand a chance to socialise with friends and staff.We are proud to offer a state-of-the-art hydrotherapy pool for our residents to use. The pool is equipped with a range of therapeutic features.Our facility also includes a rebound therapy area, which is equipped with trampolines and other equipment to provide a fun and engaging way for our residents to exercise and improve their coordination and balance.Finally, our multi-media room is a great place for our residents to watch movies, play video games, or simply relax and unwind.DescriptionEnsuring the safety and well-being of the individuals you supportProviding emotional support and guidanceProviding care and assistance with personal needs, such as bathing, dressing, and toiletingEncouraging independence and self-advocacyAssisting with communication and language developmentHelping individuals with learning disabilities to develop life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and self-careEncouraging the individuals you support to pursue their goals and interestsAssisting with medication management and administering first aid, if necessaryMaintaining accurate and up-to-date records of the care and support provided to the individuals you supportBy fulfilling these responsibilities with compassion, empathy, and understanding, you can help young adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.ProfileThe successful candidate for a support worker for children and young adults with learning disabilities will be a compassionate and empathetic individual with a strong commitment to supporting the well-being and development of others. They will have excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to establish strong and positive relationships with the individuals they support.
