Job Description

Senior Biological Characterisation ScientistPermanent, Full-Time Cambridge area, UKREED Scientific are representing an innovative and fast-growing FTSE 100 biopharmaceutical company. The company provides analytical, manufacturing and stability storage services in a GMP regulated environment, and they are looking for an experiencedand highly proficient Senior Scientist within their Biologics team.They are looking for someone who fully understands and has experience in Immunoassay method development and validation; expert in techniques such as ELISA, Capillary Electrophoresis, SDS Page, and handling DNA/RNA.This is a technical role that requires plenty of hands-on experience.About the Job

  • Utilise your skillset and knowledge in all practical aspects of one or more analytical techniques such as c-IEF, CE-SDS, mRNA analysis techniques, ELISA/Plate based Residual impurity analysis among others for the analysis of Biopharmaceutical products.
  • Support / Act as a lead scientist working across a vast array of projects involving routine analysis, method development, method validations and troubleshooting which will range in scale, scope and timeline.
  • Plan and perform analytical work, generating and interpreting data and generating reports when required working as part of the Biologics group
About You
  • BSc / MSc/ PhD in Biochemistry/Chemistry (or a related scientific discipline).
  • In-depth knowledge of Biological Characterisation with extensive experience using Biophysical techniques for the analysis of biopharmaceuticals.
  • Strong method development and validation experience
